Giving Thanks Friday

This week I am thankful for:

An afternoon of picking blueberries and good conversation with friends.

Another summer Birthday for our daughter, Bethany.  I love her and who she is ever so much!

The backdrop of music to make everything from exercise to laundry to worship that much richer.

The refreshing feel and smell of summer rain in the evening.

Sorting through scrapbooks, that my mom so lovingly makes for all the grandchildren, to pick out photos for my nephew's wedding.  So many good memories!  Now he is about to make new ones as he marries the love of his life this coming weekend.

Veggie sandwiches in the park served with a side of laughter.  (Okay, and chips too...)

Changing color solar lights purchased on accident.  I usually always prefer (and thought I was choosing this time) white solar lights but have to say these have been fun - a bit of sass down the front walk : )

What are you thankful for?

May your weekend be filled with wonder, laced with peace and bursting with love...

(Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good: his love endures forever. Psalm 118:1)

  1. Oh, you sassy lady you! How fun are coloured lights! I love your thankful lists, Mindy and they always make me smile.
I'm going to pick blueberries tomorrow so I'm very thankful for that. I'm super thankful for air conditioning because it's unbearably hot here the last few days. Apparently, it's hotter here today than it is in Qatar! lol We Canadians have ice cubes in our veins so this heat has me close to the evaporation stage!
I'm thankful for the farms I work with because they inspire me so much each day and the fresh produce is such a treat.
I'm thankful for the handsome, intelligent man in my life who makes me think and makes me act like a grown up.
    Happy Friday!

  2. I love this! And I love your new design. How long have you had it? I'm a bid out of the loop. Oh and be watching my glimpses posts every Monday. Something new is coming which fits right into your gratitude posts. I hope you will join me.

  3. Mindy that is a lovely profile picture. And that is such a creative way of showing us your blueberries. Sometimes when we are buying fruit from the orchards we will buy our youngest grandson a little bag of blueberries for a treat as he loves them.
    Have a lovely weekend,

    Diana

  4. Love your profile picture, saw it the other day but did not comment. The blueberries are so delicious right now, cannot get enough, creative heart. Your dandelion is so pretty, I am looking for something for myself, maybe a spoon? Wonderful giving thanks Friday......
