Immanuel

"The virgin will be with child and will give birth so a son, and they will call him Immanuel - which means, 'God with us'."
Matthew 1:23

Praying Immanuel will dwell in our hearts richly this week,
that our focus remain on Him
as we prepare for and participate in
 this Christmas season.
A season of love
and of hope.

*Due to a power outage in our area I missed Giving Thanks Friday but will be back next week doubly thankful!)

  2. Loving your Christmas ornaments! It gets dark where I am at 4:30 in the afternoon, and with the Christmas tree lit up it is so much easier to reflect on why we celebrate this season. Thanking Jesus for being a light in the dark!

  8. Boy, it is sure hard to maintain during this season, isn't it? I went shopping today with my sisters and came home so glad that I don't have to do that again. It made me sad to see people searching for gifts that will probably be thrown in a corner and forgotten an hour after they are given. May I keep my eyes on the real "gift" of Christmas.
