Berry good (and a cake)

We have been having warm, moist (as in rain...) weather here this week and the raspberries are loving it.  These are 3rd year canes and they are producing wonderfully.  We are planning to double the patch next year for an even bigger yield.

I hope that means there will be much more of this yummy raspberry freezer jam in our future!

For another yummy treat check out my guest post today over at the lovely Bargain Hoot blog for an easy, DIY chocolate cake.  http://bargainhoot.com/2013/06/26/quick-diy-chocolate-cake/

    1. Yes, bring scones please! Raspberry jam is my favorite. I love opening a jar in the fall or winter and tasting that fresh flavor.
