Giving Thanks Friday

This week I am thankful for:

Lime green rubber garden shoes.  They are a bit on the bright side but they make me happy!

A yummy row of fresh made strawberry-rhubarb jam.  It tastes great now but is a jar of summer in the midst of winter.

The strength and resilience of the rescued ladies from Ohio and the mom trapped for 16 days in Bangladesh.  God bless them all.

New beginnings and do-overs.

My mom and mother in law who have been such examples in so many areas of my life.  I love them both!

What are you thankful for?

  1. Thankful for light at the end of the tunnel - school is almost out! So grateful for coffee, my boy who likes to work in the garden, my brother who vacuums :), and feeling content at the end of the day. xo

  3. So thankful for the season of mothering I am in right now. Being a mom of teens/tweens is challenging but it beats changing diapers!

So thankful also for the brunch I will be taken too after church tomorrow by my family. Can't wait. Happy Mother's Day to you, Mindy!

  4. I too, am thankful for the safe return of the women in Cleveland to their families. They will need that strength in their recovery process.

I am thankful that we got through my nephew's first Communion even though he was so nervous he fainted! His older brother insisted he was faking, lol.

I am thankful for the wonderful man in my life who gifted me with a new camera because he knows my love of photography. I'm so excited I can hardly sleep!

I am thankful to you, Mindy, because you remind me each Friday to take the time to reflect (even though I'm a little late this week). I always look forward to coming here. You're a gem.

Hope your Mother's Day was fabulous.

    1. A new camera - how exciting! I need to spend more time learning how to use mine. Your poor nephew, bless his heart, but glad he survived and now has a story to tell his children and grandchildren one day : )
